Our company
The business, which started in 1964 in the galvanic coating laboratory founded by the Colombo brothers in San Michele Mondoví, consisted of manufacturing simple nickel/chrome items. In 1973, they built a plating plant with 3 automated transporters.
The new Niella Tanaro (CN) site, built in 2005 near the motorway toll station, has a covered area of over 5,200 m2 and has a highly advanced nickel chrome plant and new special machines for the production of different types of article.

FAQ
Do you do hard chrome plating?
No, we only do nickel-chrome plating for aesthetics and weather resistance and not for mechanical surface hardening.
Do you do work to client designs?
That is our speciality. Thanks to our in-house technical department, we can either put your ideas into practice, or work with you in finding the best solutions to meet your requirements, designing articles so as to find the most practical and economical solution. If need be, we can design special equipment for production, polishing and chrome plating, so as to realise your ideas in the optimal way.
Do you chromium plate plastic, zamac or aluminium?
No, we do not do this type of coating. The base materials we use are cooper, cast iron, brass, iron and steel.
Do you do chrome re-plating of vintage car and motorbike parts?
Yes, we have a section specially equipped for this work.
What are the maximum dimensions you can chrome plate?
For individual bars, the maximum is 3000 mm; for frames or similar items, 2600 x 1400 x 350 mm.
What are the minimum quantities that you require to undertake the work?
Thanks to the flexibility of our software, we are equipped to work both on small quantities and large runs.
